Hi Zilvis,

Thank you very much for suggesting the alternate part # of MGA81563TR1G

I think many will be benefited because the front end protection of hackrf is
not that good secondly I have doubt whether the mfr. has at all used the TVS
diode in the antenna INPUT - to me it looks like a capacitor.

Thanks Dominic.
Worked great once I screwed up enough courage to commit to it.
Many a device has been rendered brick like at my hands.

I would like to re-load the firmware on one of my HackRF One. I would like
to do that under Windows 10 64 bit.
The first thing you'll need is a copy of the HackRF tools built for Windows.
I don't know if you're building your own or looking for precompiled
binaries, but if it's the latter, you can find them included in the packages
here: http://downloads.myriadrf.org/builds/PothosSDR/
Has anyone done this? is there directions somewhere that I can?t seem to
find?
Once you have the hackrf_spiflash tool, the usage is the same as any other
platform:

hackrf_spiflash -w hackrf_usb.bin (or whatever your firmware filename is)

Hi everybody,
I'm sorry to bother you, but I've got a problem with my HackRF.
In the past, I've buy an HackRF clone, as I liked the product, I've
sell this to buy an original HackRF.
After some month, I used it 3 times, my original HackRF does not work
anymore on transmission while I bought it new, with the last firmware
pre installed.
I've no problem with signal reception.
To be sure it's not my installations (on Debian and Kali) who does
not work, I tried to use this with the last version of Pentoo live,
and, impossible to transmit signal recorded. I've tried with Gnu
Radio Companion and with hackrf_transfer command, and I think the
problem is material.
If you have a tip or another solution, she's welcome.
You can confirm to me what the problem is from material ?
Please, can you help me ?
Kind regards,
Charles

Dear All,

I believe HACK RF can be used as signal generator too. Is there any one who
has tinkered on the hardware
to find out the connection for Signal generator output

Hi all,

I will attempting to create a beam steering lab using Hackrfs and I wondered if anyone had any experience/advice in this area.

We would like to create a 4 element linear array driven by Hackrf s. To beam steer we need to be able to control the phase and amplitude of the 4 elements. Usually we would use a phase shifter and an attenuator.

However, since we will be using Hack RF for the baseband we were wondering if there was a way to use them for the RF control as well.

Many thanks

Robert.
